Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am the owner of Precious Paws, professional dog grooming salon in Dry Doddington.

I hold a City and Guild Level 3 qualification in dog grooming, am a member of PIFA (Pet Industry Federation Association).

My love of dogs goes back a very long way, I was brought up around dogs and my family and I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember.

When I left school I trained in hairdressing, once qualified I worked in salons in Newark, then Grantham and for several years at Ragdale Hall.

My cutting and styling experience has given me the perfect grounding for dog grooming. When you are cutting somebody's hair, the consultaion process is crucial in ensuring a happy customer with the desired look, and I believe this is equally important when I am grooming your dog.

After 10 years of hairdressing I decided on a change of direction, went back to study, completed a diploma in marketing and went on to work in the corporate sector.

I have always wanted to work for myself, and this pull finally became too much to resist so I decided to take the leap and start my own business. I signed up for a City & Guilds course in professional dog grooming and swapped my hairdressing scissors for clippers & grooming kit!

I currently just have one dog of my own; Lettie, who I offered to foster for a local rescue home 7 and a half years ago…. needless to say, she never left!
